The Elephant Fetus Project

Anti-choice "activists" tend to deem themselves experts in human fetal development. Their use of illustrations and images of fetus' knows no end. This is what happens when you pretend to be anti-choice and share images of an 11 week old elephant fetus with various anti-choice groups.

I will be honest: most of us would have trouble deciphering the differences between this elephant fetus and a human fetus. I considered that before I started this little “project”.
So why is it fair to play such a sneaky trick on the anti-choice among us?First, pro-choicers tend to not be the type to deny that all mammal species share a common ancestor and thus can appear very similar in the beginning stages of our life cycles.
Second, and most importantly, pro-choicers tend to not worship at the alter of the fetus. We do not make claims about the perceived personhood of the fetus based on it having human characteristics. What started all of this? I was browsing groups pertaining to abortion rights on facebook and was startled by the sheer number of fetus pictures posted by anti-choicers in an attempt to “change hearts”. It made absolutely zero sense to me, especially considering what I understood about basic invertebrate   life span development and how similar we all look while we are still cookin’. I posted this picture in one of the groups out of curiosity and was rather amused when the anti’s started liking and commenting on the humanity of it all. If only they knew!
The following posts will show exactly how anti’s react when faced with “humanity”.I am blurring out the name I used to post the images just to keep things going as long as I can. Please, if you have any comments, questions, criticisms, share them.
